Valencia Airport (VLC)
Travel and Ground Transport
(Valencia, Spain)
Valencia Airport offers basic ground transfer options and passengers can make transport choices based on factors such as price, comfort and convenience. Public bus services provide cheap and reliable transfers, while taxis are a more expensive but comfortable way to get around.
Hotel shuttles from the airport are often provided free of charge or as part of a package deal, while the recently added metro network is especially popular.
Buses
Bus service number 150 runs from the airport to Valencia via Mislata, Quart de Poblet and Manises. Services commence at 06:30 and conclude at 23:15.
Shuttle Buses
The Aero-Bus service runs from the airport to Avenue del Cid, St Bailén and St Ángel Guimerá. Services run every 20 minutes from 06:00 to 22:00.
Hotel Shuttles
Popular hotels such as the AC Valencia, Eurostars Gran Valencia and Expo Hotel Valencia invariably offer shuttle pick ups for visitors staying at their establishments. This service is often provided as part of a package deal. We recommend that you contact your hotel directly to check whether a pick up service is available in advance of your arrival.
Trains
In the spring of 2007, the Valencia metro network's Line 5 was extended to reach the airport. Regular trains depart from the onsite 'Aeroport Station' and link both the city and the nearby port.
Taxi Cabs
Taxis are available from a rank situated opposite Arrivals for journeys to Valencia town and surrounding areas.
